I can't trace my roots too far back with much authority. I have plenty of stories about who I am related to, but no paperwork or evidence to back it up. For instance, I'm told I'm related to William Wallace (the Scottish resistance leader) -- and had a great grandfather that bore his name -- but this is just the story I've been told.
The one interesting bit of trivia that can be backed up is a street in Paris named after a relative.
